New character
Only the name and description are needed. You can fill the rest in later.
{{user}} for you and their name for them. This matters most in group scenes, where voices blur without it.
::, then the detail. Only sent when one of those words comes up. Things the whole world shares belong in the world instead.
New world
A world holds what every story set there has in common, so it stops being copied into each character.
::, then the detail. Every character in this world gets these, so a big world bible costs nothing until it's relevant.
Your profile
Who characters are talking to. Separate from your account name, which stays whatever you signed in with.
Reading aloud
Narration and spoken dialogue read in different voices, so a character's lines stand out from the description around them. This is saved on this device only — voices differ by phone and browser, so it doesn't carry over to another one.
World
Pick nobody and begin anyway to start with an open scene here instead — the model will narrate and invent whoever the story needs.
Play everyone here instead lets the story pull from every character already written for this world, deciding on its own who's actually present each moment — good once a world has a few people in it and you want them to come and go naturally, rather than picking who's in the room every time.
Open scene
A thread with nobody in it. The model narrates and invents whoever the story turns out to need, and keeps them consistent once they exist.
